I’M A MUSICIAN, STUDENT AND TEACHER

I’ve toured with a gypsy band (Las Gitanas), been a liquid woman with a new wave rock band (The Findells), been a member of UVa’s New Music Ensemble, performed with a Taiwanese surf rock band (Dzian!) at an Asian festival in NYC, & played Halloween resurrections in the world's largest Black Sabbath cover band (Mass Sabbath).

I starred as Shootin' Moon with an old-time punk band, been an aging sorceress/cellist/electric violinist for a goth band, stood out as the white woman in an African dance company, and have performed with such diverse groups as The Stars of Tomorrow, Dumb Dog & Hollow Log, Draw the Kitten, The Mobiotic Movers, Magneto, and Ms. Conception & The Awful Truth.

I’ve facilitated movement and bucket drum workshops with refugee kids in Greensboro, NC., at the Art of Improvisation at SUNY Fredonia, and at Southwoods Trailer Park in my hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia.
